A lonely being from the center of the Earth named "Nergel" decides to kidnap Billy & Mandy to force them to become his best friends forever. Grim, being generally annoyed and tormented by the children, is delighted at first. However, after spending some time in the house and reassessing his friendship with Billy & Mandy, he changes his mind and goes back to rescue the kids (something he refuses to admit).
